$25 - Provide school supplies to a rural village school

Schools in rural villages are typically a one-room schoolhouse without electricity or textbooks. Sponsorship helps schools buy desperately needed supplies, such as pencils, chalk boards, and workbooks.

$50 - Teach school children about conservation and stewardship of the rainforest

School children in the Urban areas of Peru often do not have the opportunity to travel to the rainforest. ACEER is able to provide experiential learning through our innovative school programs.

$100 - Provide conservation training to elementary school teachers

ACEER provides experiential learning opportunities allowing teachers to travel to the rainforest through unique field workshops. Teachers are then able to bring their knowledge back to theirs schools and community.

$375 - Sponsor a village school

Sponsorship of a village school provides resources to the school, supports community development efforts, and helps teachers develop and implement a rainforest ecology curriculum.

$500 - Provide conservation education to Peruvian university students.

University students in Peru seldom have the opportunity to attend field workshops, due to the lack of funding at Peruvian universities. This program helps Peruvian students to pursue graduate study and research in disciplines that focus on tropical ecology and environmental education.

$50 - Teach school children about conservation and stewardship of the rainforest

ACEER continues to partner with concerned people to identify and address the unique needs of local communities with innovative projects to address growing and serious issues such mercury toxicity from gold mining operations.
