It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the College of Visual and Performing Arts at West Chester University. Throughout our website, you will read about amazing students, extraordinary faculty, and world-class facilities. With over 300 performances annually, and 100 majors and minors available, I am pleased to introduce you to the opportunities available at West Chester University.

The College of Visual and Performing Arts at West Chester University prepares students to excel as talented, creative individuals in music, theatre, dance, and art. The college houses the School of Music, Department of Theatre and Dance, and Department of Art + Design, which offer bachelor's degrees in Music Education (instrument, keyboard, voice), Performance (instrument, keyboard, voice, jazz), Theory, History and Composition (theory/composition, history), Elective Studies in an Outside Field, Elective Studies with Music Therapy (in collaboration with Immaculata University), Theatre, Art + Design (graphic + interactive design, studio art) and master's degrees in Performance (Instrumental, Organ, Piano/Harpsichord, Voice, Choral, Conducting, Instrumental Conducting), Piano Pedagogy, Music Education (Performance, Research Report, Orff-Schulwerk, Kodaly, Music Technology), Music (Theory/Composition, Music History).

I encourage you to schedule a visit to campus, meet our faculty and students, and get to know our performance and teaching facilities.
