The Department of Theatre and Dance at West Chester University is dedicated to the educational development of its students, preparing them to meet the challenges of our contemporary world. To achieve this goal, the department supports the cultural climate of the university campus and the community by staging a variety of productions that represents a broad spectrum of theatre genres. The department also encourages faculty and student development by supporting a variety of scholarly and creative activities.

Rising Star Days

Join us this coming year for our Rising Star Day series. These events offers a unique behind-the scenes look at the Department of Theatre and Dance including a tour of our renovated facilities, a meet & greet with faculty and students, and ends with a matinee production within our season.

Rising Star Day is open to high school and community college students seriously considering a Theatre and Dance major or minor at West Chester University. Dates will be posted later this summer! Check back for more info.
