Ben Dibble teaches private voice in the musical theatre concentration at WCU. By focusing on a robust, supported sound and the integration of breath, emotion, and intellect in performance, many of Ben's current and former students are working consistently in professional theatre. As an actor, he has appeared in dozens of plays and musicals including the titles roles in Candide, The Producers, Henry V and Bat Boy: The Musical as well as starring roles in A Little Night Music, Sweeney Todd, Miss Saigon, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and dozens more. He has worked for Arden Theatre Company, Walnut Street Theatre, the Wilma, Lantern Theatre, Round House, Flat Rock, BoarsHead, and others. Ben has been nominated for 12 Barrymore Awards and is the recipient of the 2006 F. Otto Haas Emerging Artist Barrymore Award. Ben has been an adjunct faculty member at WCU since 2006.
