RECAP 2009
will be hosted at WCU on
May 7th 8:30-2 pm.

RECAP 2009 will be a retreat and brainstorming session with discussions on development of future conferences. This year's sessions will follow a BarCamp format. A BarCamp is an open, participatory workshop-like event, whose content is provided by participants. All attendees are encouraged to present or participate in a session. Due to the BarCamp format, this year's RECAP is limited to 50 participants.

If you are interested in presenting in this special RECAP session, please submit your ideas online.

The RECAP annual conference has been held at WCU for 14 years annually in May of each year.


Annual RECAP Conference

RECAP conference offers faculty the opportunity to improve and enhance the classroom learning environment through integrating technology into their curriculum. This will be accomplished through demonstrations and hands-on workshops using a variety of new technologies. RECAP conference will include lectures and demonstrations of new educational technology by faculty and guest speakers, a series of concurrent sessions and one-on-one development sessions.
