Refund Dates and Percentages Information

Fall and Spring Semester


Students wanting to withdraw completely from the University must submit that request in writing to the Office of the Registrar.

A 100 percent refund is issued only if the course is dropped or withdrawn from on or before the first day that the University is in session.

After that, tuition and fees are refunded according to the schedule below. These percentages apply to the total tuition bill, not to partial payments of tuition.

If you withdraw during You receive a refund of
By 1st day of the semester 100% tuition and general fees
Days 2-5 of the semester 90% tuition and general fees
2nd week of the semester 80% tuition and general fees
3rd week of the semester 70% tuition and general fees
4th week of the semester 60% tuition and general fees
5th week of the semester 50% tuition and general fees
6th week of the semester and later No refund
