Edward J. Coyle '73
- Inducted into Pennsylvania State Athlete Hall of Fame, Delaware County Chapter
- Inducted into Olympic Wheelchair Sports USA National Hall of Fame
- Graduate of the International Olympic Academy, Olympia, Greece 1977
- Para-Olympic participant for weightlifting, winning four Pan American gold medals; three world championships; two Olympic gold medals; ten national championships; and set 23 world records

- Created, developed, and implemented adventure education program at East Goshen Elementary School in 1976, West Chester, Pa

- Nominated Teacher of the Year, 1981

- Led U.S. Olympic Field Hockey team to bronze medal 1984
