INSTRUCTIONAL STAFF

The faculty of the Sports Medicine department serve as both instructors in the classroom and as clinical supervisors in the athletic training setting. Faculty provide athletic training services to athletes who compete on the university's intercollegiate teams. Refer to following link for sport assignments: http://www.wcupagoldenrams.com/pdfs/Sports_Medicine_info.pdf .

The dual role is important in that students may observe these professionals and learn from them in both settings. The faculty are excellent role models for the budding professional.  Each faculty member has national certification by the Board of Certification, Inc. (BOC) as a certified athletic trainer (ATC) . In addition, each is certified by the Pennsylvania State Medical Board .
