Academic Programs & Course Descriptions

The Department of Anthropology and Sociology offers Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Sociology and in Anthropology. The department does not offer graduate degrees in either Sociology or Anthropology. However, the department does offer a graduate certificate in Gerontology.

The Department of Anthropology and Sociology also participates in a number of interdisciplinary and specialty programs, including Ethnic Studies, Women’s Studies, and Archaeology.
