The
Philadelphia VA Medical Center is seeking a full time Statistician for a term
appointment which may last up to four years. Duties will include: supporting
the research, administrative and practice initiatives for the national HUD-VASH
(Department of Housing and Urban Development and VA) and MIRECC (Mental ) research programs; assisting the Program Directors and Principal
Investigators (PI’s) in data management, data analysis and data interpretation collection,
analysis and interpretation; independently and collaboratively engaging in the
dissemination of research finding; ensuring directly or through consultation,
the integrity and efficiency of multiple source data acquisition, integration, management,
documentation, reproducibility and maintenance for multiple research projects;
providing training and leadership to
junior research staff on research methods and analyses and providing vigilant
oversight of the integrity of research data bases and software.
Bachelor’s
degree in statistics, mathematics or engineering and one year of experience
which demonstrates knowledge of statistics, research procedures and data needs
related to the operation of research and practice studies is required. PhD is preferred. US Citizenship is required.
