- On March 27th, 2008, at 3:15 in Anderson 115, Ian Melbourne, University of Surrey, UK, will give a talk on Decay of correlations for Lorentz gases.
- Mathematics Awareness Month: On April 1, 2008, at 3:15 in Anderson 103, James Hamblin will give a talk whose theme will be mathematics and voting. There will be an induction ceremony for new Pi Mu Epsilon members before the talk.
- The Department of Mathematics at WCU will be hosting TI-Nspire 2-Day Hands on Institutes, October 6th & 7th., 2007. All participants will receive a free TI-Nspire handheld, a free view screen panel, and free computer software. The price of the workshop is $225.00.
