Bachelor of Science in Marketing

Degree Requirements (a minimum of 120 semester hours, 100 level or above, is required)

All students are required to complete the General Education requirements in effect at the time they enter, or are readmitted to, West Chester University.

(C) denotes courses which require a grade of C or better.

General Education Requirements (48 semester hours)

Courses included in general education, but required by the major

  • ECO 111 Principles of Macroeconomics (C) - 3cr.
  • CSC 110 or 115 or 141 - 3cr.
  • MAT 105 or 107 or 110 (C) - 3cr.
  • PHI 150 or 180 or 101 - 3cr.

Remaining general education courses:

  • WRT 120 - 3cr.
  • Any WRT 200-level - 3cr.
  • Any BIO or CHE or ESS or PHY course - 6cr.
  • Any ANT or PSY or SOC or GEO or PSC course - 3cr.
  • Any LIT or CLS or HIS course - 3cr.
  • Any ART, Cinematography, Dance, Music, Photography, or Theatre course - 3cr.
  • Diverse Communities (any course with a J designation) - 3cr.
