The Finance program's objective is to develop communication skills, problem solving skills, technological skills, and an understanding of practical and theoretical concepts in finance. To this end, the Economics and Finance department offers the Bachelor of Science in Finance program, which allows interested pre-business students to major in Finance. The Economics and Finance department faculty employs a variety of teaching methods to achieve the objective of the Finance program. On graduation from the Finance program, students are well prepared for either a career in the fields of finance and business or for the pursuit of graduate studies in a variety of fields. The Economics and Finance department also offers a program that leads to the award of a Minor in Finance. |
