Directions to Campus
Reservations are required for all group information sessions and campus tours. Listed below is the link to the registration page and a description of the many options for visiting West Chester University.
Tours -
Tours of campus are led by a University Ambassador (student tour guide) and are offered Monday- Friday during the academic year and throughout the Summer. Due to limited space, please click the "Campus Visit Schedule" to register. Tours typically consist of a visit to a residence hall, the dining facility, and a classroom setting. The average tour will last about 1 hour.

Admissions Information Sessions – Admissions Information Sessions will be held on select Monday and Wednesdays at 9:30a.m. in the Fall of 2009. These sessions provide an opportunity to learn more about the academic, residential, and extracurricular opportunities available at WCU. The 30 minute information sessions are given by an Admissions Officer and followed by a 1 hour tour of campus. Information sessions are color coded on the Campus Visit Schedule.
*Please note, spring information sessions are geared toward high school juniors beginning the admissions process.
Saturday Information Sessions – Special Saturday Information Sessions are only available on select Saturdays during the Fall semester. All available Saturday sessions will be listed on the Campus Visit Schedule. The sessions begin with a 30 minute presentation by and Admissions Officer covering the academic, residential, and extracurricular opportunities available at WCU, and are followed by a tour of campus.
Online Tour - For individuals unable to visit campus, we have a virtual tour of campus. This tour includes many of the stops on the University Ambassador-led tour, including all of our academic buildings on campus.
Self-Guided Walking Tour - For those who would like to visit Campus
when tours are unavailable or when the Office of Admissions is closed, we have a
Self-Guided Tour. Please feel free to print the
Brochure before your visit to WCU.
Music Program Tours - Students who are interested in music and are perhaps thinking of choosing music as their major can take a tour of the Swope Music Building. Tours of the facility are offered on tjhe following days and last about 45 minutes. To register for a tour please call the Music Department at 610-436-2739. You may also want to visit the College of Visual and Performing Arts website for more info about the music program.
