About West Chester University's Writing Center

We offer free writing consultation services to all WCU undergraduate and graduate students, as well as to the entire campus community. At every stage of the writing process, from pre-writing to final draft, writing consultants help writers identify their strengths and develop strategies to become better writers. Explore our site for resources for writers and information about our services.

Cancellation Policy

The Writing Center requires appointments to be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance by deleting your appointment or calling the Writing Center during regular business hours. Cancelling an appointment without prior notice inconveniences the Writing Center staff and takes up an appointment time another student could have used. Failure to cancel with advanced notice two times will result in the loss of your Writing Center privileges for the remainder of the current semester. If you have any questions, please contact the Writing Center Director, Dr. Karen Fitts.
