|To obtain the support of Moving Services , please submit a TMA Work Request via iService Desk (iSD).

|Requests for services must be submitted at least two weeks in advance of the event or move. Where there are overlapping requests, the Moving Services Supervisor will develop a schedule to meet the needs of all requesters in the best way possible.|
|Requests for deliveries of tables and chairs must specify a preferred delivery date and pickup date. Since other departments may also need to use them, tables and chairs cannot be retained for an extended period of time by one department. If there are more than four work days between events the tables and chairs must be picked up after the first event and re-delivered for the next event.|
|Chairs, tables, and equipment supplied by Moving Services are to be used only for the event as requested in the Work Request and should not be removed from the site to which they were delivered. Missing tables and chairs may result in an added charge of $2.00 per day per item. Furthermore, the tables furnished by Moving Services are not waterproof and are not intended for outside use. Water damage to tables may result in the using department being charged replacement costs.|
|Moving Services has a standing commitment to support Residence Hall furniture requests and move-in needs for the start of the Fall Semester. Consequently, no other major move requests can be accommodated from the first of August through mid-September each year.|
|Moving Services is not staffed to move multiple offices or departmental relocations. Such large movement needs should be referred to Facilities Design and Construction for planning and implementation.|
