North Campus Drive will be closed from South Church Street to just east of Tyson Hall. With this closed, our contractor will continue to extend our geothermal lines to Mitchell Hall and our new Business and Public Affairs Center. The geothermal pipes will be bored under Church street - this will require pits on either side for the period needed to complete the drilling and piping installation. As a result the sidewalk in front of Mitchell Hall will be constricted.

During the time North Campus Drive is closed, Goshen parking lot will be closed to normal traffic and parking but available to emergency and delivery vehicles.

The principal vehicular traffic flow to D Lot will be either via North Campus Drive from the west or using the normal University Ave one way access in front of Peoples. Access to Tyson will be via North Campus Drive from the west. All vehicular traffic will have to leave via North Campus Drive towards S. New St.

Pedestrian traffic will remain essentially the same as it is now except for the added detours to get around the construction area. The contractor will seek to ensure pedestrian walkways are usable for handicapped access.

These restrictions will remain in place until the contractor completes this section of the pipeline, expected by late December.
