The Motor Pool / Auto Shop has recently re-located to the north side of 821 S. Matlack Street.  The shop consists of the Supervisor: Larry Krackov, and two Automotive Mechanics: Rick Cantlin and Jack Hooven. 

The Motor Pool maintains eighteen vehicles for use as needed by the campus community.  The available vehicles include: 5-person sedans, 7-person minivans, 15-person vans, a cargo van, and a pickup truck.  Drivers must comply with all eligibility requirements listed in the “WCU Vehicle Policy”.

In addition to inspecting and maintaining the Motor Pool vehicles, the Auto Shop provides service to approximately 75 service vehicles used around campus, as well as maintaining all the heavy equipment, tractors, and mowers used on campus.  Also, the Auto Shop maintains a compressed natural gas fueling station allowing many of WCU’s vehicles to run on cleaner-burning natural gas.
