Alexis Parks

Hello, my name is Alexis Parks and I am a senior Accounting major at West Chester University with a minor in International Business. Upon graduation, I plan to initially become a Certified Public Accountant, and in the future obtain my M.B.A. and open my own business. Until then, I will continue to excel academically and be involved on campus at West Chester University. I am a student in the Honor's College seminar program at West Chester University. Also, I am a member and the treasurer for Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., the Vice President for the National Association for Black Accountants, and treasurer for the Black and Latino Greek Council. I am very excited to be a peer mentor for the Office of Multicultural Affairs this year, and hope to give insight and impact the freshman. Besides my involvement on campus, a few of my accomplishments are: I received Who’s Who Among American Colleges and Universities, I am a Board of Governors Scholar, Certified Student Leader, recipient of WCU's Emerging Leader of the Year Award, and I had the opportunity to travel to South Africa with the Honor’s College this summer. Some of my hobbies include laughing, dancing, sleeping, traveling, trying new foods, and hanging out with my friends. I am a determined student and individual and strive to excel in all of my endeavors.
