West Chester University is pleased to be hosting the Annual Volunteer Fair on September 10th from 11:00am - 2:00pm in the Sykes Student Union Ballrooms. Students will have the opportunity to meet staff from over 55 non-profit agencies.
Staff from the different agencies are on campus to help you get connected with volunteer opportunities. Agencies are looking for volunteers to tutor or mentor youth, spend time with the elderly, serve meals to individuals in need, assist at a hospice, and more. Some of the agencies that will be attending the Volunteer Fair include: the Peace Corps, City Year, Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania, The Arc of Chester County, and the Brandywine Valley YMCA.
Many of the agencies will also have information about internships. Don’t miss out!
Organizations interested in participating in the Volunteer Fair can sign up online on the Community Partner page. Once you have entered your information you will receive a confirmation email, which you should print out and bring to the fair. Information about lunch, parking, and what to bring can also be found on this page.
