Brownie Bake Off

West Chester’s Brownie Bake Off is an event organized by the Office of Service- Learning and Volunteer Programs to help the West Chester Food Cupboard and Salvation Army. Students and employees of West Chester University bake their best brownie recipes and compete for the honor of having the tastiest treats. Last year’s 7th Annual Brownie Bake Off was a great success raising $445! Come out and support this year’s Bake Off, try your hand in the kitchen, or stop by and enjoy a tasty treat for a good cause. To enter the Brownie Bake Off fill out the entry form and email it to Jasmine Forster.

This event supports the West Chester Food Cupboard, whose mission is to provide food assistance to eligible, low-income families and individuals in need. The food cupboard is supported by Federal and State food programs and donations from generous county and community groups, companies and individuals.  We reach out to serve our neighbors with consideration and respect. This event also supports The Salvation Army.  Whether it is embracing the homeless, uplifting the abused or abandoned, training and mentoring the disadvantaged, providing character building programs for youth, or assisting the displaced or elderly, The Salvation Army's goal remains the same: serving the most people, meeting the most needs, doing the most good!
