III Field Experience Requirements (6 credits)

 

EDC 600 Counseling Internship in Higher Education  Fall, Spring

 (PREQ: EDC 592:

EDC 556; EDC 531 and 532 must be completed before or taken concurrently with EDC 600

Application required- Department registers student in internship course 

Higher Education Internships must be completed with a minimum of 600 on-site hours over at least two semesters in a higher education environment.  Each 3 credit internship course has a 200 hour minimum requirement. Student may use Elective course as Internship if they choose the option of three consecutive courses to complete 600 hour internship requirement.
