Area of Instruction
Dr. Brown teaches courses in both undergraduate and graduate
educational psychology.

 

Publications/ Professional Activities
Dr. Brown is currently part of a research team that is investigating identity formation during student teaching.

Dr. Brown has co-authored a textbook Educational Psychology: A Practitioner Research Model of Teaching andhas written extensively in the areas of teacher planning, action research, and teachers' case
dilemma writing.

Biography
Dr. Deborah Brown earned her B. S. in secondary education, social studies with a concentration in environmentaleducation from West Chester University.

She then went on to earn her master's and doctoral degrees in educational psychology from the University of Delaware.

Dr. Brown is especially interested in middle school teaching as well as early adolescent development.
