After graduating from Reading Hospital School of Nursing, Linda worked as a Charge nurse on a Medical-Surgical Unit and at a nursing home. She was a Head Nurse, Discharge Planner & Home Follow-up Nurse and researcher at Bryn Mawr Rehabilitation Hospital. At Paoli Memorial Hospital, Linda held positions in Utilization Review & Home Care. She also developed the first hospital Infection Control Program in Chester County and served as Director of Quality Assurance. Linda has worked as an occupational health nurse and served as a consultant to develop rehabilitation research and infection control programs. At WCU, Linda is a clinical instructor for Level III as well as coordinator & lecturer for an elective pharmacology course. She is also a PIP (Partners in Prevention) facilitator and a member of the WCU University Forum.
Community activities include the Lions Club of West Chester and the Communities That Care Prevention Board. She is also a Diabetes & Wellness Educator at Chester County Hospital. |
