Community Service Awards

Each year the Community Service Experience Advisory Committee for the College of Education selects an undergraduate student for the Community Service Award on the basis of outstanding service. This is the fifth year for the College of Education to present the Community Service Award for exemplary service at Teacher Education Day on April 17, 2013.

Undergraduate Award Winner: Justin Crawford (middle grades preparation)

  • Served at the American Helicopter Museum and Education Center
  • Took additional training to become a docent with the Stubby Program

Award winner receives:

  • Monetary award of $250
  • Recognition at the Scholarship Awards Ceremony during the Week of the Teacher
  • Award Certificate
