As the Undergraduate Program Counselor for the College of Education at West Chester University, I am available to help teacher education majors with any program requirements and particularly the process of Formal Admission to Teacher Education. Formal Admission to Teacher Education must be completed for entry into advanced teacher education coursework.

My office is located in suite 251 in the Francis Harvey Green Library directly above Starbucks. You are welcome to drop in or make an appointment for a specific time. I am in the office, Monday through Friday, 8:00 to 4:00 during the summer, and 8:00 to 4:30 during the academic year.

For majors requiring community service (undergraduate early grades, middle grades, early childhood, elementary, special education, post-baccalaureate elementary), I am here to help you plan your community service experience and sign your pre-approval form. I will verify your community service hours once completed and read your reflective statement.

I also approve FATE Delay Permits for qualifying students that meet the requirements for a one time permit prior to Formal Admission to Teacher Education.
