Graduates of the public health program have skills which are in demand today due to the growing emphasis on health promotion and disease prevention. Through classroom study, field trips, and actual work experience, public health students acquire the knowledge and skills needed to assess, plan, implement and evaluate public health programs and to help people assume more responsibility for their health and well-being. The public health program offers an undergraduate curriculum that prepares students to work in a variety of health settings.
