The Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) at WCU is administered within the College of Health Sciences, Department of Health. The DPD is currently granted developmental accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education (CADE) of The American Dietetic Association, 120 South Riverside Plaza, Suite 2000, Chicago, IL 60606, (312) 899-0040 ext. 5400. CADE is a specialized accrediting body recognized by the Commission on Recognition of Postsecondary Accreditation and the United States Department of Education. This program meets the academic requirements outlined in CADE's "Standards of Education".
