Student Learning Outcomes

Student Learning Outcomes for the Peace & Conflict Studies minor are three-fold.

  1. Informed Value Decisions
    Students will be able to recognize and analyze the interrelationship between conflict, violence and justice.
  2. Mediation and Negotiation Theory
    Students will demonstrate an understanding of the broad field of conflict resolution and peace studies by demonstrating an understanding of mediation or negotiation theory.
  3. Structural Inequalities
    Students will demonstrate an understanding of the broad field of conflict resolution and peace studies by demonstrating an understanding of the larger picture of how structural inequalities and international relations interact.
