Gerard A. Callanan Management (2001) Professor B.B.A., Temple University M.B.A, LaSalle University Ph.D., Drexel University Dr. Callanan received a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from Drexel University. Prior to his appointment at West Chester University, he was a Vice President with the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia. During his twenty-two years at the Federal Reserve, Dr. Callanan held a number of senior posts, including responsibility for discount window lending and credit and risk management. A member of the Academy of Management and the American Psychological Association, his research on a variety of management topics has appeared in a number of scholarly publications. He is co-editor of the Encyclopedia of Career Development, published by Sage in 2006 and co-author of the fourth edition of the textbook Career Management published by Sage in 2010. |

Lisa Calvano Management (2011) Assistant Professor BS,Drexel University MSc, London School of Economics MBA, Temple University PhD, Temple University Dr. Calvano's teaching and research focus on the triple bottom line - how organizations can prosper by respecting and caring for people and the natural environment. At West Chester University, she teaches Business and Society, Human Resource Management and Sustainable Business. Previously, she taught similar courses at Franklin & Marshall College and Temple University. Dr. Calvano's primary research interests include the social and environmental impact of business, business ethics education and critical management studies. Her work has been published in Journal of Business Ethics and Organization and presented at conferences including Academy of Management and International Association of Business and Society. Prior to entering academia as a second career, Dr. Calvano worked as a nonprofit manager in the field of community development. She is also co-owner of Philly Fair Trade Roasters, a coffee roasting business in Philadelphia. |

Evan A. Leach Management (1993) Associate Professor B.A., Pennsylvania State University M.A., West Chester University M.A., Yale University Ph.D., Yale University Dr. Evan Leach received his Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from Yale University. His research interests lie in the area of performance measurement, particularly in Not for Profit Organizations. In addition Dr. Leach conducts research on Management pedagogy, specifically in the area of team effectiveness. His research has been published most recently in Education and Training, Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector Quarterly and the Journal of Management Education. |

David F. Perri Management (2002) Assistant Professor B.A., College of the Holy Cross M.A., The Pennsylvania State University Prior to his appointment at West Chester University, Mr. Perri was Senior Vice President of the Health Services Company of Siemens AG, managing a technical division of 1200 employees operating in 20 countries. Mr. Perri officially retired from Siemens AG in 2002 to pursue a full-time teaching and research position, focusing on International Business and Operations Management. He has published in a number of scholarly journals on the topics of Conflict Management, Ethics, and Entrepreneurship. Mr. Perri serves on several boards in the private sector, and is frequently called upon for technical and management consulting. |

Paul F. Rotenberry Management (2005) Associate Professor B.A., Widener University M.A., The University of Akron Ph.D., The University of Akron Dr. Rotenberry earned his Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Akron. Before coming to West Chester University, Dr. Rotenberry taught in the Colleges of Business Administration at Cleveland State University and the University of Akron. In addition, Dr. Rotenberry taught in the University of Akron's Community and Technical College, along with the College of Arts and Sciences. As a member of the Academy of Management, the Organizational Behavior Teaching Society, and the Society for Human Resource Management, Dr. Rotenberry's research falls into two streams: pedagogy and the understanding and prediction of human behavior. His pedagogical research has covered effective methods of teaching topics ranging from persuasive communication to emotions in the workplace. Dr. Rotenberry's empirical research has covered subjects such as the influence of job involvement on employee performance and the validity of the in-basket assessment method. |

Rani G. Selvanathan Management (1986) Associate Professor B.S., University of Delhi (India) M.S., University of Delhi (India) Ph.D., University of Delhi (India) Ph.D., University of Paris (France) Dr. Selvanathan has a Ph.D. in Operations Research from University of Delhi, India and another Ph.D. in Transportation Economics from the University of Paris, France. Dr. Selvanathan is certified as a production and inventory manager (CPIM) by the American Production & Inventory Control Society. She enjoys teaching courses in her field of specialty and is currently interested in studying the movement of world economies. |

Matthew Shea Management (2011) Assistant Professor BA, Connecticut College, 1993 MBA, University of Pittsburgh, 1995 MHA, University of Pittsburgh, 1995 PhD, Temple University, 2012 Matthew Shea is a research fellow in Willis Research Network, where he investigates the financial materiality of sustainability as it concerns environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors. This effort follows the publication of The Global State of Sustainable Insurance by the Insurance Working Group of the United Nations' Environmental Program's (UNEP) Finance Initiative, where Matthew Shea served as the lead researcher. His other research interests include social entrepreneurship and not-for-profit management. He has published in the Journal of Social Entrepreneurships and presents his research at the Academy of Management and the Babson College Entrepreneurships Research Conference. His managerial career includes 11 years at a not-for-profit, retirement community. |

Roberta Snow Management (1989) Professor B.A., Syracuse University M.A., Syracuse University Ph.D., University of Pennsylvania Roberta Snow, Ph.D. is Chair and Professor of Management. Currently she supervises interns and teaches courses in business policy and strategy. Most of her work as an academic and consultant has addressed the transfer of organizational models and management methods developed in the commercial sector to nonprofits and government agencies. Her most recent book is "Hard Choices: A Guide to Effective Decision Making for Nonprofit Managers." |

Xiaowei (Linda) Zhu Management (2006) Associate Professor B.S., Beijing Union University (China) M.A., University of Iowa Ph.D., University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Dr. Xiaowei Zhu received her PhD in Production Operations Management from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and M.A. in Management Information Systems from the University of Iowa. Her research interests include supply chain management, outsourcing, quality management and mixed channel. Dr. Zhu has several papers published in leading journals, including Journal of Business Research, Production and Operations Management, International Journal of Production Economics and others. Dr. Zhu is a member of the Institute for Operations Research and Management Science and Decision Science Institute. |

Monica Zimmerman Management (2008) Associate Professor B.S., Messiah College M.B.A., The Pennsylvania State University Ph.D., Temple University C.P.A., Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Monica Zimmerman, PhD, CPA teaches entrepreneurship, business policy/strategic management at the graduate and undergraduate levels. She has published and presented many studies addressing the management teams, legitimacy, and initial public offerings (IPOs) of early stage companies. Her research has been published in top academic journals including the Academy of Management Review, Journal of Business Venturing, Journal of Small Business Management, and Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice. Dr. Zimmerman also serves as the Director of the Dr. Edwin Cottrell Entrepreneurial Leadership Center at West Chester University (www.cottrellcenter.org). The Cottrell Center promotes entrepreneurship literacy and provides experiential learning opportunities for West Chester University students by assisting Pennsylvania based early stage and small companies. |
