Training Opportunities are provided to departments and classes by request on diversity and equity related issues such as:
• Sexual Harassment
• Discrimination Prevention
• Conflict Mediation
• Cross Cultural Communication
• Special sexual harassment discussions for faculty that may be incorporated within department meetings. These discussions are facilitated faculty trained by the Office of Social Equity.
Social Equity Advocates are trained individual available to the complainant who can assist in all aspects of complaint procedures through clarifying procedural issues, assisting with the preparation of the complaint, making inquiries as to the status of the complaint and providing other support to the complainant. The Director of Social Equity can provide an advocate upon request.
