Campus Recreation offers something for every student of the West Chester University community. Whether you played a specific sport in high school or want to try something brand new, we have something to offer. Our programs include sport clubs and intramural sports.
The Intramural Sports program is designed to encourage students to participate in organized sport activities. These activities promote participation and socialization between groups and individuals, enhance physical fitness, and foster a spirit of fair play and sportsmanship among participants and spectators.
Club Sports participation is a major area within Campus Recreation. Those who desire club sport membership seek regular participation under a more coherent design than offered by informal or intramural activities. We currently offer 29 club sports.
"Inclusive" recreation at WCU, is the idea that physical pursuits are available and beneficial to ALL students including those who may need physical, emotional, or cognitive support in order to make their recreation experiences safe and successful. Also known as adapted or adaptive sports, or accessible recreation, the REC is YOUR place to pursue your wellness goals.
