Researching Employers

It is critical for job and internship seekers to conduct research on any potential future employer.  Interviewers expect you to be knowledgeable about their organization; you must articulate to an interviewer your motivations and interest in working for the organization to be considered a strong candidate.

The career center and FHG Library have compiled excellent resources for researching specific employers as well as obtaining detailed information about various industries and career opportunities within those fields. Researching an employer is often best accomplished by careful review of that organization’s own web site.
