Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity - Recruiting members now!
Pi Kappa Alpha recruits quality men who are committed to academic achievement, campus leadership, competitive athletics, and most importantly, those who pride themselves on being gentlemen. We are seeking men who desire more than the average fraternity experience. We take a unique approach when establishing a new chapter. The Fraternity recruits its members on a recommendation basis. Recommendations come from several sources, including: alumni, coaches, faculty and staff, various student organizations, their leaders, and fellow fraternity and sorority members at West Chester University. Recommended men then meet two to three times with Pi Kappa Alpha Expansion Consultants. Through these meetings, the two PIKE representatives will develop the new colony at WCU.
The new Panhellenic sorority to join the community is Alpha Delta Pi, also known as “A-D-Pi.”
Here is some key information in how to join ADPi:
There will be a full time staff member employed by the national office of Alpha Delta Pi called a “Colony Leadership Consultant” who will be living in West Chester during this academic year. She will be helping to lead the marketing and recruitment efforts throughout this semester and will work closely with ADPi's new members to educate them about Alpha Delta Pi, what it means to be a sorority woman, and also train the chapter officers following their installation.
ADPi will participate in the Open House round of Formal Recruitment to introduce themselves to the community, however women will not join ADPi through this formal recruitment process. f there are women that do not find a home during the Formal Recruitment process, we hope they will consider participating in ADPi’s recruitment process. The new chapter’s recruitment week will kick off following Formal Recruitment, on Monday, September 23rd.
ADPi will be seeking women of all class years (freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors) to becoming founding members of our West Chester chapter.
ADPi Colony Recruitment will include the following events
Information Session – Monday, September 23rd
“Tell Us About You Sessions” – These are one-on-one interview sessions with potential members and alumnae members of ADPi. Students will have an opportunity to tell us more about themselves and also learn more about ADPi. Women will sign up for a “Tell Us About You Session” through our Facebook page.
Philanthropy Night – Wednesday, September 25th
Bid Day – Friday, September 27th
Women interested in staying informed or learning more about our colonization efforts can follow us through social media, our website or via email.
