The Office of Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drug Programs is an integral part of the Student Health Center and supports its mission "to promote the life-long physical and emotional well-being of our students by providing strong, effective disease prevention, health promotion and educational services."
The ATOD program mission is integrated with the mission of the West Chester University Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drug (ATOD) Campus Work Group.
The mission of the West Chester University Alcohol, Tobacco, and other Drug (ATOD) Campus Work Group is to collaborate in the development of, monitor and evaluate comprehensive, evidence based programs that address the use and effects of alcohol and other drugs on individual students, the West Chester University (WCU) campus, and the surrounding community.
