Established in 1973, the Center for International Programs (CIP) assists in coordinating study abroad programs and providing essential services for faculty-led study abroad and international student exchange.

Students are encouraged to participate in semester or year-long study abroad programs as well as summer faculty-led programs. The CIP hosts a Study Abroad Fair each fall in Sykes Student Union where students have the opportunity to meet with WCU facilty to learn about programs all over the world. In addition, study abroad representatives visit campus during the spring semester. The schedule for these visits is available in the office at the beginning of each spring semester. The CIP offers semester, year-long, and summer abroad programs. Information about study abroad can be found on the website.

All West Chester University immigration services are provided through the CIP. A variety of services such as immigration advising, English as a Second Language programming (http://www.interlink.edu/wcu/), and orientation are provided for approximately 300 faculty, scholars, and students from WCU and more than 60 countries.
