About Us & Staff

Parents Information - June 2017

For Parent of Incoming Students

All incoming first-year students who have paid their $400 Admission/Housing deposit should have already received the appropriate housing information via WCU e-mail accounts. All deadlines were listed within the e-mails. All spaced in the Traditional Halls are now full. Students with later deposit dates and students who missed earlier deadlines will be assigned to Affiliated housing.

Transfer students who were admitted as an on-campus resident were offered housing at the Village Apartments, East Village Apartments, or a North Campus Affiliated community should complete their leasing materials for University Student Housing as soon as possible. Questions regarding transfer student housing at the Village Apartments can be referred to the University Student Housing staff at leasing@ushcommunities.org or 610-430-4988.

Students (in traditional halls) may request another resident student as a roommate. This process will occur electronically May 15 - July 3, and information was sent to students' WCU e-mails. Please refer questions about suite selection and roommate requests for Allegheny, Brandywine, and Commonwealth Halls to leasing@ushcommunities.org

Any questions regarding this information should be directed to the Office of Residence Life and Housing Services at

housing@wcupa.edu

or 610-436-3306.

For Parents of Current Resident Students

Housing for 2017-2018

At this time, we are only accepting waitlist applications for housing. This housing application process does not guarantee a student a space for 2017-2018. We encourage students who wish to complete a waitlist application to also consider housing options off-campus. Waitlist applications are available in 202 Lawrence Center, and are not processed until later in the Summer.

Any questions regarding this information can be directed to the Office of Residence Life and Housing Services at

housing@wcupa.edu

or 610-436-3306. Questions regarding our affiliated properties - Allegheny, Brandywine, Commonwealth and University Halls or the Village Apartments or East Village Apartments, can be directed to the University Student Housing staff at info@ushcommunities.org

Just a Reminder…

Encourage your student to register for the Campus E2 Emergency Alert system. Once they have created their E2 account, they can add a second phone number, such as a parent’s mobile phone.
