Summer Housing 2017

West Chester University offers a comprehensive summer school opportunity. The Office of Residence Life and Housing Services has a program in place for summer housing. We typically arrange for one residence hall to be available for summer (2017 - Goshen Hall).

Summer 2017 Information and Applications

Please access applications through Internet Explorer OR Safari web browser. Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox do not support the full-function of the Adobe Forms Application.

The Summer Housing and Meal Applications are interactive forms that you can fill out on-line and submit in its entirety to Residence Life and Housing Services.

You need to make sure you have the latest version of Adobe Reader, which you can download.

Fill out on-line form and click SUBMIT button at the bottom. It will ask what your prefered e-mail service is. Please use your WCU e-mail account, as outside accounts do not always auto-attach the file. Another option, if submission doesn't seem to be working, is to SAVE your filled in application to your Hard Drive, and then send as an attachment with your prefered e-mail account to

Summer 2017 Housing/Meal Fee Structure:

North Single/19 Meal Plan $130.00
North Single/14 Meal Plan $120.00
North Double/19 Meal Plan $130.00
North Double/14 Meal Plan $120.00

No meal plan is available during Intersession #1. Students staying during this period will be billed for housing only and must make their own arrangements for meals.

Weekly Costs

  • North Campus Double Per Week = $50.00
  • North Campus Single Per Week = $50.00
  • 14 Meal Plan Per Week = $70.00
  • 19 Meal Plan Per Week = $80.00

Session Costs

  • 5 Week Housing North Campus Double and 14 Meal Plan = $600.00
  • 5 Week Housing North Campus Double and 19 Meal Plan = $650.00
  • 5 Week Housing North Campus Single and 14 Meal Plan = $600.00
  • 5 Week Housing North Campus Single and 19 Meal Plan = $650.00

Summer Session 2017 Dates

Please note - check out is the last day of the session. In case of Saturday finals, please make arrangements with your RD.

Intersession #1

Academic Session Dates: May 15 to May 26, 2017
Check in: May 14, 2017*

Session #1

Academic Session Dates: May 30 to June 30, 2017
Check In: May 28, 2017

Session #2

Academic Session Dates: July 3 to August 4, 2017
Check In: July 2, 2017

Post Session/Intersession #2

Academic Session Dates: August 7 to August 25, 2017
Check In: August 6, 2017
Check Out: August 18, 2017**

*No meal plan is available during Intersession #1. Students staying during this period will be billed for housing only and must make their own arrangements for meals.
**Students living on campus during the Post-Session will be required to move to their fall assignmant OR check out of the residence hall on Friday, August 18, 2017, time TBD.
