The contract grant writer develops resources, researches funding sources, and writes proposals to a variety of organizations to support general operations and special projects for LCH. This individual writes grant reports and is responsible for managing by the grants calendar and providing updates to the Executive Team.


As a member of the Development team, the Event and Volunteer Coordinator plans, organizes, coordinates, promotes, and facilitates special projects and events including LCH premier event Vive tu Vida. This individual will manage schedules, coordinate and monitor event timelines; review and analyze data and meet fundraising goals. As volunteer coordinator, this individual recruits, assists in training, and manages volunteers for various LCH projects that address specific program and community needs. As necessary, this individual will be involved in face to face meetings and will spend time on the telephone.


The primary role of the Finance Director is to provide financial management, analysis and guidance to the CEO, management and program staff and the Board of the Directors in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and funder and regulatory requirements. This individual also provides critical information through regular and comprehensive financial analysis and reporting. The Finance Director manages accounting and budgetary systems and evaluates all financial systems for efficacy. This individual also ensures the completion of payroll functions and provides oversight to Human Resources activities. The Finance Director is a member of the Management Team.


As a member of the Development team, the Marketing and Public Relations Coordinator is responsible for managing the overall marketing/public relations strategies and implementation to ensure the LCH’s image and messages are clearly articulated and consistently communicated.


The primary function of the Medical Assistant is to assist the clinician in the provision of primary healthcare services to the client and to act as an advocate for the client. The Medical Assistant may also provide services as a receptionist for the health center and as a facilitator for the client.


The primary function of the Medical Billing and Coding Specialist is to review medical documentation for appropriate coding according to ICD-9 and CPT-4 coding principles, submit claims, review claim denials and re-submit claims, as needed. The position requires competence in ICD-9 coding, CPT coding, modifiers and medical terminology.
