CAS is the largest college at West Chester University, with 13 departments enrolling nearly 4,000 undergraduates and over 600 graduate students. These departments offer a wide variety of degree programs in the humanities, social sciences, and sciences.

The College of Education is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education, NCATE. This accreditation covers both initial teacher preparation programs and advanced educator preparation programs.
The College of Health Sciences offers a diverse array of undergraduate and graduate programs. These programs are offered through the departments of Communicative Disorders, Health, Kinesiology, Nursing and Sports Medicine.
