The mission of the Art Department is to offer a BFA degree program that educates a wide diversity of undergraduate students to acquire knowledge, understanding, and skill in the visual arts and its evolving technology, so that they may pursue graduate studies or art related careers. Within the university, we provide general education for all students and service courses. In the larger community, we serve as resource people in our respective fields for schools, art centers and museums.
