The mission of the College of Visual and Performing Arts at West Chester University is to create a learning environment that fosters excellence in the visual and performing arts. Through both traditional practices and contemporary approaches, CVPA will prepare its students to create, examine, perform, research, and teach the complexities of the arts. The faculty, engaged in scholarship and service to set an example for our students, are committed to collaboration, diversity, and interdisciplinary exchanges needed for continued growth of the college, the university and the community beyond our campus. |
