Information about the University's Threat Assessment Team
Emergency Management is the judicious
planning, assignment and coordination of all available resources
into an integrated program of prevention, preparation, response
and recovery for emergencies of any kind, whether from man-made
sources, natural sources or terrorism.
Under the direction of the Vice President for
Administration and Finance, the Campus Emergency

campus emergency response expertise that are available into a
single effective plan for the preparation, response and recovery
of the campus in case of an emergency or disaster.
The following University offices are involved
in CERT:

West Chester University also works very closely
with local municipal emergency management and is supported by
the Chester County Emergency Management Agency. When an incident
occurs that exceeds the University's ability to provide
sufficient response resources, local municipal and County
emergency management assistance will support the University's
efforts through mutual aid.
