Mission Statement

The West Chester University Foundation supports the goals of West Chester University through fundraising activities, the management of the donated resources, and the promotion of the University needs to prospective contributors.

Thank you for visiting The West Chester University Foundation web site. The WCU Foundation is vital to the operation and further enhancement of WCU. Although a state supported University, West Chester relies on private gift support to afford the best opportunities to its 14,000 students. Gifts to the WCU Foundation, allow the University to keep class sizes manageable, enhance campus-wide technology, allow students to work side-by-side with faculty who are leaders in their fields, and create a positive community which fosters diversity and an eagerness to learn.

Thanks to the generosity of alumni, family, and friends, today's students enjoy the many benefits and personal growth opportunities of a West Chester University education.
