• The University, employees, students, and visitors spend approximately $133 million statewide annually, including $99 million in Chester County alone.
• More than 70 percent of WCU graduates remain in the greater Philadelphia area for their first job.
• In 2006 community attendance at WCU cultural and public affairs events rose to more than 65,000 visitors, evidencing the increased prominence of the University as an intellectual and cultural arts center for Chester County and the surrounding region.
• The University hosted 87 conferences with more than 35,992 conference attendees.
