The West Chester University Environmental Health and Safety Department
has contracted with an environmental recycling company to offer a
recycling service for hazardous batteries.

Hazardous Batteries
Contain:		 Equipment That May Contain Hazardous Batteries:
Mercury
Lithium
Sealed Lead Acid
Nickel
Cadmium
Laptop Computers
Cordless Power Equipment
Cell Phones
and Most Rechargeable Batteries

NOTE: We can accept or recycle Household (Alkaline) Batteries (AA, AAA, B, C etc.)

Don’t throw your hazardous batteries away! 
Recycle them!

If your department accumulates hazardous batteries please submit a work order to have them removed:
