Welcome to ResNet!

ResNet Central provides Student Network support to all students in addition to many other services.  We are here to help you with technical questions, data (computer), video (cable TV), and  voice (telephone) network support. We help you connect your personal computer and gaming equipment to the student network. If you are a WCU student and you need assistance, use our Trax Helpdesk Support System to request service.  It's the best way to get help!
ResNet Student Network

ResNet provides wired network connections in all residence halls. Typically, if your network address is not hard coded for your machine, you will be able to simply plug your PC into a port. However in order to fully access the network, you must follow the steps as outlined on the Network Access System page. This can be done from your own room.

Connecting Game Consoles

ResNet does not officially support the use of wireless game consoles, however as a courtesy to our students we do assist in providing network access for XBoxes and PS3 consoles. We do not support the game consoles themselves. For help with any physical console problems you will need to contact an authorized support center. In order to fully use your console it is recommended that you fill out a short registration form. If you don't register your game console, you can still use your system although it may become unstable or not work at all with some games.

Our Location

"We are located on the bottom floor of Brandywine Hall. When you walk through the archway of University Hall (coming from Lawrence) Brandywine Hall is directly across the quad. ResNet is the first office on the right as you enter Brandywine Hall. (Room 003)
