Mr. Adel Barimani, CIO and Interim Vice President for Information Services started in April 2008 as the interim Vice President for Information Services at West Chester University. For Several years prior to his current position as CIO, Mr. Barimani has been the Executive Director of Information Technology in the Information Services division with over 25 years of IT and IT management experience.

Mr. Barimani has been representing West Chester University at the State System of Higher Education, internal and external Technology and related summits for over twenty years with broad understanding of campus mission and goals. He has also been an adjunct faculty teaching Graduate management courses covering Information Technology trends and management, as well as computer science classes for over 20 years.

Mr. Adel Barimani has been a long standing member of Educause and was a program committee member for the Mid-Atlantic Regional conference 2008.
