Search History

The Search History screen allows you to re-do or edit any previous searches you have performed in your current session. To access the Search History screen, you must first complete at least one search. After you have completed at least one search, the Search History button Search History Button will display on the tool bar at the top of the screen.

The History screen creates a table that lists the number(s) to hit to Edit a search, the number of Hits or items found for each search, the Search Type (Keyword, Title, Author, etc.), and exactly what you Searched For.

Search History

To perform a search from a previous search:

  1. Click the Search History Button button on the tool bar at the top of the screen.
  2. To re-do or re-execute a search from the table click on Search Type or Search For.
  3. To edit a search click the number in the Edit column.

Note: The History tab does not retain information about search Limits. If you re-execute or edit a search, any current limits in effect will be used instead of limits you had specified previously.
