Button Activity
New Search Perform a new search in the last search method used. If a search method has not been chosen, new search returns to the default search method as set by the home library.
Results: Headings Go to an index list of subject headings generated by a search or generated by clicking on a subject line within a record.

Results: Titles Go to an index list of titles headings generated by search.

Simultaneous Search Choose one or more library catalogs to search simultaneously.

History Go to list of searches you have performed during the current search session.

Patron Login with your name and barcode number to see a record of your current library transactions. Transactions include materials checked out, dates due, overdue fines, etc.

Login Logon to proprietary resources.

Request Login and request one of several services that your home library may or may not provide: including call slip, hold/recall, purchase, and sending items found on a simultaneous search to your home Library.

Home Library Go to your library's home page.
Help Displays context sensitive help for PILOT. 
Click on   Help Contents   to view the entire Help menu 
Exit Close PILOT and return to a page from which you can re-enter PILOT or connect to your library's home page.

Reset Clear entries in "Search for" box(es).
Full View Display information about a record, including bibliographic information.

Button "States" - Many buttons can be displayed in one of three states.
 Button  State  Explanation
Up Titles  Up  Click the button to perform the function.
      For example: the up Results: Title button is displayed after you have done a search and a list of titles to browse is available.
 Down Titles  Down  The button has been clicked and you are on a page displaying results to browse or the given function to perform.
      For example: the down Results: Title button is displayed when you are browsing a list of title results.
 Disabled Titles  Disabled  The function is not available and therefore the may not be clicked.
      For example: the disabled Results: Title button is displayed before a search has been conducted. Since no search has been made, there is no list of title results to browse.
